Honeymooners in Boracay

For a 4 years married couple with no child and living separately, i consider myself and my husband as honeymooners. OK.That's explain the title.

On 8-10 of September we went to Boracay Island, Philippines by Air Asia flight to Kalibo Airport. Kalibo is the gateway to Boracay. I bought the ticket on Feb 2014. The tickets cost me RM122 per pax including airport tax. If you are looking for the airfare that are affordable and cheap, look no further than Air Asia. But bear in mind that the seats are not so comfy. Definitely not for fussy traveler.

The flight took 4 hours to reach Kalibo Airport. The transportation from Kalibo to Boracay was all arranged weeks before we depart. We use Southwest tour agent for the transportation. Here's  the detail:-
Flight 4hours
Airport to jetty 3 hours
Jetty to boracay island 30 mins
Boracay's jetty to resort 30 mins

We finally reached  our resort at night. Trashed all the bags at the room and went out for dinner. It was hard hard hard to get halal food there. one of the halal restaurant is True Food. They serve indian dishes. But only the lamb and seafood is halal. Chickens are not because they got the chicken from local supplier and the supplier doesnt practise islamic way to cut it. The restaurant  cost us bombs. Very expensive. Plain briyani rice with no meat or gravy, nan with veggie curry, a cup of coffee and small bottle of mineral water costs us about rm50! I'll bring a cooker next time i travel here. Price is one issue, another one was we're fooled by the halal sign. Point is,you should ask the halalness of the food served and never take it from the banner or such.

Boracay's night was very happening.  Cool and hot at the same time. There were lots of performers along the beach. Live bands, dancers, fire eaters dancers and etc. We had fun surrounded by non stop musical performances.

There will be part 2.. insyaallah ..

Sadly, video game retailers are struggling today.
The game is free to download and play just beware there are in game
purchases available. Remember this too: when people
play "Clash of Clans", they are encouraged to just press a button and
invite all their Facebook friends to play with them.
